Commit now! Remote Sensing on Stackexchange

Hey guys!
I am taking a short break from my vacation in Croatia because I stumbled upon something very interesting that I wanted to share with you. Most of you probably know the online Q&A platform  “Stackexchange” and the two GIS and programming related sites stackoverflow.com and gis.stackexchange.com. A couple of days ago a proposal was made to add an independent forum to the website solely for questions on Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry. However, before this forum goes online it needs 200 commiters who show interest in this forum.

So if you think this is a good idea, please visit the following link and commit to this project.

Stackexchange has proven to be the best platform to ask questions and get fast help to almost every question and topic. Let’s make Remote Sensing part of this platform so we all can benefit and learn new things in our very broad domain.

Cheers

Martin
