Hey out there!
I’m back with the Links of the Week (with one day of delay 😉 ).
- It’s never wrong to have a glimpse on the current job market. Riccardo Klinger and his team from Digital Geography are constantly updating their jobs map for geoscientists. Have look at their informative blog, too. It’s a great piece of work!
- Next Blog: From GIS to Remote Sensing. It’s all about remote sensing with open source software, mostly with the Semiautomatic Classification Plugin for QGIS. Recently a function for searching for and downloading Landsat 8 images was implemented – very nice feature! Thank you, Luca Congedo for your admirable work you are doing!
- Do you already know Geonetwork Open Source? It’s a “catalog application to manage spatially referenced resources”. Have a look at it.
- And last but not least: PostGIS 2.1.6 Released.
Have fun and see you next week!
Simon
